Specialists in Contractor Mortgages

At My Contractor Mortgage we arrange mortgages based on your daily contract rate, rather than your taxable income. No need for company accounts or tax returns, the mortgage is assessed from your signed contract document.

There is no increase in the rate or lender fee because you are a contractor. Standard lender rates and fees apply to all the contractor mortgage lenders we deal with.

    Why use us ?

We have a strong network of lenders who are more open to lending to freelancers and contractors based on your rate of pay, rather than your taxable income.

We have developed a range of methods that maximise the chance of your request being accepted.

    What we need

    The process

    Initial Assessment

We gather some basic details regarding your financial circumstance and requirements.

    Agreement in Principle

We can approach a potential lender to run a credit check to see if they would be prepared to lend.

    Submit Application

We formally apply to the lender, submitting all relevant information and documents.

    Lender Review

The lender will review your application and supporting documents.

    Property Survey

The lender will survey the property to confirm its value and that it is suitable security to lend against.

    Mortgage Approved

Once approved, your lender will issue a Mortgage Offer document, which is the formal written confirmation that they are happy to lend.

Typically, this takes around 7 to 10 working days.

    Purchase

    Remortgage

    Buy to Let

    Some of our lenders

I work crazy hours and I don’t have time to find a suitable mortgage product myself. The team at My Contractor Mortgage know the contractor market inside out and have helped me numerous times. Highly recommend!
